Just a question, and where can I find out more.

Right now there's just Xenosaga I, Xenosaga II, & Xenogears. If I remember correctly, Xenogears is actually the 5th game in the story, so I assume there will be at least 2 more in addition to the ones already out.

But I & II were several years apart, so you've probably got some time before III & IV come out.

You can likely get all the games on Amazon.com.

I kinda hope they get the rights to redo Xenogears. that would be cool.

I agree though I have a feeling they will end up re-doing it anyway with a slightly different story... one that would fall more in-line with the way the Xenosaga story has been going so far. I've gotten the impression that they've had to change a lot since being dropped by Squaresoft.

Though if you watch carefully at the end of Episode I, you can see someone who looks VERY much like Fei... at least I think so. Pie disagreed with me, but she does that a lot ;)

Yea, you do, but my real post is about the possible remake of xenogears. I don't mind if they remake with wicked graphics (though i still have the original xenogears and i love the old school style of it) but i HOPE TO HELL they don't change the fighting system much. I was kinda saddened by xenosagas' fighting system in comparison to xenogears

sadly, I think it'd be impossible for them to do a remake that was ONLY updated graphics... they'd HAVE to change the story. here's why:

If they don't get permission from Squaresoft for the remake, Squaresoft owns the story and they have to change it signifigantly enough that it doesn't infringe on anything.

If they DO get permission from Squaresoft for the remake, they've already changed the Xenosaga stories in order to keep from infringing, so an Episode V remake would still have to be changed enough so that it flows with how Xenosaga has been going so far.

Though I think the latter option would be better (for us), because they would have to change less of it than if they went with the former option. But I don't think it's likely that Squaresoft will give in. I guess we'll see. We've still got several episodes to go before we find out. By then, they'll probably be on the PS3.

The first Xenosaga has got me pulled in with the Battle system and the graphics and story. Can't wait to beat it and then play the next one for the story. Great game.

Very glad to hear that you like it so much. The first Xenosaga is the one that got me into the series. I didn't even know Xenogears existed until I was talking to a friend about Xenosaga and she told me about the connection. You've played Xenogears, right? Watch carefully during the end cinematics to Xenosaga I... maybe even have a VCR handy for re-winding. hehe

OH! Actually here's some REAL advice. After you beat it, you'll be asked if you want to save "Clear Game Data" ... naturally you'll want to do that for loading into Episode II, but if you think you might want to keep your saved game from the end of Episode I, do NOT save the Clear Game Data over your actual saved game, because you can NOT continue to play Episode I from that data...... I hope that made sense. I made that mistake and never did get around to opening all of the doors or some of the other side-quests because I had saved over my near-end data.

Okay, thanks for the advice but I don't even think I am 1/4 of the way through. But I will remember that if I can (bad memory) Unless it comes to games or computers hehe wierd huh. Well so far it is a great game. I have Kos-Mos, Scion and that guy with the scar in my party right now. On the ship right now, trying to get off of the ship I belive.

Yeah, you're still very early in the game. hehehe But if you like what you've seen so far, I'm sure you'll get to like it even more. I actually got somewhat annoyed with the fight system in Episode I. It wasn't until Episode II that I really got a hang of it. They added a lot more intricacies that make the battle system more interesting in the second one.

Yeah, I read a preview of Episode 2(before I even picked up Episode 1) I like how indepth the story is (sometimes however the cinematics take away from the play time) but I am okay with that. I still don't understand the boost system, but I heared the Revamped it in Episode 2. Other than that I love the story plot, very very interesting.
